Gas fireplaces can cost anywhere from $60 to $12,500 to install.† Protect your investment—and the safety of your family—with an annual gas fireplace tune-up. Your contractor will perform several performance and safety checks, which may include examining the fireplace framework for gaps or cracks, the glass for cracks, the ceramic logs for deterioration, and the chimney for condensation. Your contractor may also ensure that your gas ignition and carbon monoxide detectors are working properly.

Find a participating contractor who installs natural gas fireplaces or offers the gas fireplace tune-up rebate in our Home Energy Savings Network.

Have your participating contractor install your qualifying gas fireplace or perform your gas fireplace tune-up.

Your contractor will submit a rebate application for you. You’ll get your rebate on the contractor invoice or receive a check in the mail within six to eight weeks.
