Washington Gas is here to help Maryland and Virginia residents improve the energy efficiency of their homes. Our Washington Gas Home Energy Savings Program helps customers save with rebates on high-efficiency natural gas equipment, including appliances, home heating tune-up services, smart thermostats, gas fireplaces and water heating equipment.
Customers can find qualified contractors to install new equipment through the Washington Gas Washington Gas Home Energy Savings Contractor Network. To qualify for rebates, eligible equipment must be purchased and installed by a participating contractor. (Customers who already have a contractor can ask them to join the network.)
Participation is easy:
- Hire a Participating Contractor in the Washington Gas Home Energy Savings Contractor Network to purchase and install qualifying energy-efficient equipment.
- Have your participating contractor submit a rebate application on your behalf.
