Washington Gas partners with area manufacturers to offer rebates on energy-efficient equipment for homeowners. Manufacturer rebates can also be combined with Washington Gas rebates for additional incentive savings to reduce upfront costs.
From June 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023, Rinnai is offering a tankless water heater manufacturer rebate that can be combined with Washington Gas Home Energy Savings Program rebates. Now, Maryland and Virginia residential customers are eligible for an additional $100 in rebates.
The following tankless water heaters are eligible for combined rebates.

Rinnai Rebate Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this Rinnai rebate, the water heater must be:
- Purchased between January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023.
- Installed no later than January 15, 2024.
- Submitted to Rinnai website no later than February 15, 2024, along with proof of purchase and Washington Gas bill.
