Greater Incentives Means Happier Customers!
For a limited time only, starting Nov. 1, Washington Gas Maryland is offering higher incentives on select equipment upgrades through our Business Energy Solutions Program.
Help your customers obtain greater savings by taking advantage of this offer before it expires. Applications must be submitted between Nov. 1, 2025, and April 30, 2026.

Specialized Incentives for VA Customers
The Washington Gas Custom program for Virginia businesses is currently in full operation. Eligible customers can receive incentives of up to $3.00 per therm, with a project cap of $100,000. Discover more about the Custom Program.

Exclusive Incentives for Virginia Small Businesses
The Virginia Washington Gas Prescriptive program provides tailored incentives for small businesses.
To qualify your business must meet either of the following requirements:
Be certified as a small business with either the state or federal small business regulatory body
-or-
The facility receiving gas service must be less than 75,000 sq. ft. in area, and the account holder cannot be a publicly traded corporation or national/international chain, except for locally owned franchises.
These incentives offer eligible customers higher amounts to help reduce the initial cost of energy-efficiency upgrades, compared to the standard Commercial program.

State Funding Opportunities for Qualifying Virginia Customers
The Virginia Clean Energy Innovation Bank (VCEIB) is driving the Commonwealth’s clean energy future by bridging critical financing gaps for transformative projects. Established under the Virginia Department of Energy, VCEIB mobilizes public and private capital to accelerate deployment of clean power generation and energy infrastructure statewide.

Discover Customized Solutions for Businesses
Washington Gas Business Energy Solutions Custom Programs offer financial incentives to customers who complete eligible energy-saving upgrades beyond standard prequalified measures. Customers in Maryland can receive incentives for each qualifying project up to $500,000, while those in Virginia are eligible for up to $100,000 per project.
